The most current dates are at the bottom, ding-dong.

May 1, 2002: The 'Abstract' bagel sandwich from Bagel Art in Evanston. That's a funny name, Bagel Art. It was a good sandwich, but I had to nix the sun dried tomatoes. Chad Hunter bought me some Dill Potato chips, but only because I bought him his sandwich. No stomach ache.

May 2, 2002: Reuben sandwich from Francis' Deli on Clark St. Included fried and cole slaw. Minor stomach ache. Extra expensive & I don't believe in tipping on pick-up orders. Does anybody beside those who work in the food industry?

May 3, 2002: Today I had some bacon and eggs. It was late enough to consider lunch. I think I'll have a Potbelly's Turkey Sandwich later, but that will be late dinner. I also drank some cold coffee with the bacon and eggs, even though I'm not supposed to. No stomach ache! Lots of salt though, so I drank some tang. I like bacon, it's good.

May 4, 2002: Hmmm, that's odd because here it is, May 6th, and I know what I ate today (May 5th), but I really have no idea what I ate on May 4th. I'm pretty tired from the yard sale and being in the sun. I had doughnuts for lunch and rib tips from Ribs & Bibs, because they are good. The next entry I will date correctly, and I'll be in Evanston, so I think I'll go back to Bagel Art and get a sandwich sans sun-dried tomatoes.

May 6, 2002: Ok, so I finally get to Evanston today and then I have to go out to Oak Park. So I went back to Evanston after that. 4 hours in the car. Peanuts and garlic pretzels for lunch. Thanks to Karen for writing that I should eat more fruits.

May 7, 2002: I think I had some soup on tuesday. I just ate the broth. I left all of the Minestrone bits in the bowl.

May 24, 2002: Ok, Friday. I stayed home from work. Oh, yes! Get this! I made like 50 chicken wings on the grill! All BBQ'd with extra spicy hot sauce. I ate like, 7 of them. November 1, 2002: I've decided to discontinue this section because I'm going to stop eating lunch.

Good grief - due to excessive compliants (and I really mean it!) I'm going to continue the luch section. Why anybody caers about what I eat for lunch, I'm not sure. But nonetheless, here's more lunch. The last straw was Sri Takkilapati - kudos, Sri!

November 24, 2002: I had a couple of handfuls of Cheese Nips for lunch. Later I had fish & chips, but I guess that was more like dinner. Lorna Lithgow had curry noodles, but I didn't have any. She offered and everything, because she's super nice. Right now it's 4:30am and I'm drinking stale cheap wine that's turned to vinegar, so it's quite obvious that I don't care what I put into my body.

November 25, 2002: I got up kinda late, so I just ended up eating breakfast. And that breakfast was sausage links & over easy eggs. And Beefsteak Rye bread. Goodness, that shit is good!

November 26, 2002: Sometimes I think that I like to eat certain foods, but I really don't. But I continue to eat them. Like bagels & lox. Even now, I think that I would like it. But I don't. The concept is nice, bit it all ends up smelling kinda weird. That's what I attempted to eat, but I ended up eating a bagel with cream cheese. I didn't use capers, because capers are similar to hi-jinx. With a plot twist. I gave all of the salmon to Kitty-Keatsie and she ate it all up. That doesn't mean that it was good salmon. It means that she sometimes likes to eat other food than hard colored bits of ashen cat food.

November 27, 2002: I had the same breakfast as I did on the 25th. And I'll tell you, that shit makes some serious smoke. I went out tonight and came home at about 11 and my house still smelled like sausage.

December 17, 2002: Bacon & eggs, man, I love bacon & eggs! Really, I ate it again!

December 18, 2002: Curry noodle soup from Oodles Of Noodles. It was a tad on the 'too strong' sire. I spilled the entire container on my shoes later.

January 5, 2003: Giant salad with bacon bits kinda like brown waxy crayon chunks.

January 6, 2003: Man, there's this new sushi restaurant in Evanston called Dozika, and it's bleedin' fabulous. Really, as good as Sushi Wabi at Ringo prices. I got a combination of three rolls for $8.50. I ordered them to go and was informed when I picked them up that I can't get the lunch special to go anymore. But why, really? Does take-away packaging cost a lot of money? So I assume that I'll have to get the sashimi from now on, which also seems pretty affordable. If only they don't try to load me up with shrimp, because that's a total sashimi cop-out. Sushi is the new thai, like chop suey of the early 80's. The food trends in Chicago are pretty noticable, there are shops popping up everywhere. I'm going to open one also, except my rolls are going to be filled with raw hamburger and banana.

January 7, 2003: I went back to Dozika and got the sashimi, but it totally bombed. So I'm not going back.

January 8, 2003: Maybe toast & peanut better? And coffee most likely.
