Dear Sir,

First let me express my sorrow over the untimely
death of Mr. Harkinson. Secondly, as a retired investor,
your offer sounds quite appealing to me. I would indeed
like to meet with you face to face to discuss this matter
in further detail. I own a fairly lucrative chain of
amusement parks throughout the midwestern United States,
the most prominent being Santa's Village in Dundee, Illinois.
We could meet here to further our business relationship
whilst climbing the slides and frollicking in the ball crawl.
It is of utmost importance in this type of deal that we are able to
trust one another. Please let me know as soon as possible
when you might be able to travel to Dundee and stay as my guest in
the Elven Village.

Dear Mr. Joseph,

I am very excited about our soon-to-be business
partnership. How soon will you be able to visit
me in Santa's Village and finalize the details of
our transaction? I feel that sooner would be better,
what with the holidays rapidly approaching. I am
firmly in favor of conducting business face-to-face,
as that is what has brought me my financial success
lo these past 40 years. I have attached a portrait
of myself that was pencilled by my daughter (she is
the artist in the family). Do you have a picture of yourself
that you could send me?

looking forward to your response,
Randolph

Dear Mr. Howard,

As I stated previously, I am not confident enough
in the security of the internet to send my a/c information
through e-mail to someone I barely know. I didn't build
a successful business practice over the past 40 years by
making such rash decisions. Once we meet face to face
and hop around in the ball crawl we will be able to trust
one another well enough to finalize this transaction.
My family and I would be more than happy to accodomate
you and your son in the Elven Village. I also have a son,
and I have enclosed his picture for your viewing enjoyment.
Please let me know when you will be able to travel to
Dundee so that we can wrap up the loose ends of this
important business proposition.

yours,
Randolph Schindler

Dear Mr. Howard,

The reason I am hesitant to send my a/c information
through e-mail is that my wife is concerned that this
deal may be some type of scam. I am sure that that is not
the case, yet we would both be re-assured if you could
fax to me a signed statement promising that you will
use my account information in good faith and for our
stated purposes only. You can send this to me
at XXX-XXXX. In the meantime, you can familiarize
yourself with my organization by visiting my website
at http://www.santasvillageil.com/

Looking forward to receiving your fax,
Randolph "Rudolph" Schindler

Dear Mr. Howard,

I will open up a new a/c as soon as I can within the next couple of days,
and send you the information post haste. In the meantime, I would
appreciate it, if only for my wife's sake, you could sign the form
below and fax back to me (XXX-XXXX). This would make
our business agreement so much easier, as my wife still insists that I
should
not partake in this transaction. This is of the utmost importance to me,
as I would never put my business partner before my life partner.
Your signing this simple agreement, by putting my wife's mind at
ease, will make our business transaction run that much more smoothly.

"I, Howard Joseph/ Joseph Howard, do hearby solemnly
swear, with God as my witness, to use Randolph Schindler's
account information only for our previously stated business purposes
and for no other reason."

Dear Captain Howie,

Thank you so much for sending the signed document
over to me. My wife and I were both overjoyed upon
receiving it, and we celebrated our new-found fortune
with a dinner of eggs and roasted pinecones.
I will be leaving work early today to install
the a/c, and I will e-mail the number to you once
it is completed.
As I said before, I do not use the telephone
very often, as I am extremely hard of hearing.
Also, I will be out of town for the next few days
for the holiday weekend. However, you can call my
headquarters and speak with my associate,
Mr. Greas Munkie, whom I have filled in on
our business partnership. You can reach him
at 708 422 2714 (this is the number of a mechanic
that ripped off my friend- R). He should be able to supply you
with any additional details that you may need to
know.
Otherwise, I will resume contact with you
when I return to my office on 12/2.

warmest regards,
Rudolph Schindler

Dear Lieutenant Howie,

I am back from my vacation and am feeling very well rested, thank you.
Alas, I was not able to open my account due to the banks being closed
for the Thanksgiving holiday. I hope to open it either Thursday or Friday
this week (12/5 or 12/6).
Also, Mr. Greas Munkie is eagerly awaiting your call. I urge you to
call him (708 422 2714) during business hours (9AM to 5PM US Central
Standard Time). As I have stated previously, Mr. Munkie handles
my telephone communication, as I do not use the telephone due to
my profound hearing loss.
I am also thinking of traveling to Europe on an unrelated
business matter within the next week or so. Would you
be able to meet with me in either England or France to discuss our
transaction?
In the meantime, please contact Mr. Munkie to smooth out
our immediate business details.

regards,
Space Captain Rudolph Schindler

Dear Captain Howie,

You say that you doubt my seriousness, but I
wonder the same of you. You insist that I telephone
you, despite the fact that I have told you numerous times
that I am unable to hear and therefore cannot use a
telephone. That is why I suggested that you telephone
my business associate, Mr. Greas Munkie, if you would
like to communicate by phone.
I am going to be visiting Europe within the next couple of weeks,
and I insist that we meet face to face
to discuss this matter, as I am still genuinely interested
in this transaction. My wife has lectured me, and I agree,
that all good business partnerships must begin with a face to
face meeting. I am going to be visiting England and Spain,
and would appreciate it if you could arrange to meet with
me in order to begin our great business partnership.
I am tentatively planning to arrive in London Dec. 7-11, and then
on to Barcelona Dec. 12-22. Please let me know when you
would be able to arrange a rendezvous.

yours,
Captain Rudolph S.

Dear Sir,

Mr. Munkie is a close business associate and
long-time friend of mine. He handles a good
portion of my business, particularly
telephone communications. Are you trying
to contact him during normal U.S. business hours?
If so, there is no reason why you should not be able
to get ahold of him.

As far as our partnership is concerned, I am wondering
if you are even reading my e-mails. I have stated
repeatedly that I MUST meet with you face to face
before any business is transacted. I did not amass
a small fortune over the years by conducting business
with unseen partners. I have given you the dates
this month that I will be in Europe, and I hope
that, if serious, you will be able to arrange a meeting.
I will be leaving for London soon, and then I will travel
on to Spain. I will have my laptop computer with me,
so I will be able to correspond and arrange a rendezvous.
Please let me know when you would like to meet with me
and commence our business partnership.

Dear Mr. Howie,

I spoke with my esteemed colleague Mr. Munkie, and he
concurred that he has yet to hear from you. Are you
sure that you are trying the correct phone number
(XXX 422 2714)? Also, are you attempting to call him during
normal U.S. business hours (9AM to 5PM CST)?
If so, I cannot understand why you would not be
able to get ahold of him, as he is most often in the
office during that time. I would strongly recommmend
trying to contact him again.

I have conferred with the Santa's Village
board of directors (Mr. Munkie and myself), and we
have concluded that a trip
to Africa is not economically feasible at this time.
However, Mr. Munkie will be traveling to both
Iraq and Sasketchawan in the next few weeks, and
would be happy to meet with you in either of
those places and discuss business on my behalf.
Though not related by blood, Mr. Munkie and I
were both abandoned in the Arctic as children
and adopted by the same she-wolf, who raised us
among her own pups. So as you can see,
we are as close as brothers.
Please let me know how soon you will be able to travel
to either Canada or the Middle East, so that you can
meet face to face with my comrade and commence this
lucrative partnership.

best regards,
Rudolph S.
