Hello,

Your CL post caught my eye, it's a very interesting angle. My uncle is the GM for the Cubs and I have access to dugout seats, scoreboard or the press box. The thing is, what you have to offer doesn't really interest me. Do you have anything else to trade?

Here's a recent photo.

RESPONSE #1:
Hey there-

Glad you liked my post. I guess I learmed something in my Creative Marketing class afterall!

I can't say that I totally believe your claim that you are related to Jim Hendry, but I'll bite anyway...

And if you really are then let me say that is fucking kick-ass!

I don't really know what else I could barter for tickets, but I can be very resourceful so let me know what you might want and I can do my best.

By the way, are you single? You live in the city or burbs??

Later,

Laura

Laura, It's ok that you don't believe me, it sure is a stretch. Of course, you could be anybody as well, so until we meet face to face we'll just have to take each other's word for it. You're most likely a guy in search of good tickets! I think I have more to lose here, I could be made a fool of. I have a lot of work for the next week, but I can probably leave you tickets for next Friday's day game if you can make it. I can't come to that either but my schedule loosens up Saturday and beyond. In regards to payment, I'm not sure what wil be fair, we can talk about that. I am single, I went through a divorce last fall. I live in Lincoln Park currently, near Clark and Wrightwood. I've done some dating but nothing serious. Being married for 2 years took a lot out of me. What does the "420" in your email address refer to?

Alex

RESPONSE #2:
Ha! No, I'm not a guy, but I am looking for good tickets.

I should mention up front though that the reason I asked if you were single is because I have a really cute cousin who is currently on the market and I am on a quest to find her a nice guy who can show her a good time. Her last relationship took a lot out of her too. I would love to pick up tix for next Fri., but I am not familiar with your area at all and I am in Geneva. What do you do for a living?

Laura

P.S. Honey, if you are asking what the '420' means then it sounds to me like you already know the answer!

Lincoln Park is just south of Wrigleyville, pretty much between there and downtown. You don't have to pick the tickets up, I can leave your name at will call. You'll just have to bring your ID. Will you be coming to the game alone? What is your cousin's name? To be honest, she'd have to be pretty cute for me to date her. It's not that I'm picky with looks, it's just that I'm not in any sort of drought, if you know what I mean. I go on a lot of dates but it seems with mostly shallow people. Also, to make sure you're legit, do you have more pictures of yourself similar to the first one that you posted? I'll be happy to send more of me, if you want. I currently work at the Chicago Board Options Exchange, I'd explain more but it's pretty boring!

RESPONSE #3:
Wow, you'd really get me some dope seats at will-call?? That would be tight!! I'm pretty sure I'd bring my dad, my husband isn't much of a sports guy and I'd rather bring someone who could appreciate. My cousin's name is Denise, she's 26, graduated from UIC, works for Snap-On Tools and is also a huge Cubs fan, (but not as huge as me!). I'd bring her to the game but she can only go on the weekends since she works. I am attaching a pic of her, she's the brunette. I have a pic of me to, just so you know who I am. CBOE huh? I'd be pissed if I was a season ticket holder and they had put your section in front of me, lol.
