WITCH GARDENS: YES.

Where did the name Witch Gardens come from?
The name Witch Gardens came to our drummer, little Sara B. in a dream.

Can you tell me your names and the instruments that you play?
Beth Corry- bass/sing
Karolyn Kukoski- autoharp/sing
Casey Catherwood- guitar/sing
Sara Beabout- drums/sing

What is the rough average age of the members in the band?
Early 20s

Are you from Seattle? If not, where?
We all live Seattle now, but Sara is from San Antonio, TX and Karolyn grew up in Spokane, WA

How many bands do you think there are currently in the world?
Counting buskers, skiffle groups, junior high bands, and everything else, I would say roughly 2,000,000

Do you think that is too much or not enough?
It seems like an adequate amount to me.

How do you feel about music?
Music is like big family dinners - chaotic, emotional, occasionally fun, oft overwhelming, but always worthwhile.

If you could play in any band in the history of music, what band and era would it be?
Witch Gardens; 2010

What day jobs do you have, if any?
We are all currently unemployed and living extremely comfortably, if not lavishly, off the trust funds of our successful
grandparents.

Do you guys have any particular hobbies?
Gardening, GTL, petting cats, field recording, crystal harvesting, bible quizzing, dog walking, writing songs about bad boyfriends,
blogging, etc.

What are your favorite foods?
Coffee, pizza, pie, beef jerky, pumpkin bread, meatloaf, pho, chili mac, King Deli fried chicken, Mt Dew, zucchini, but smoothies
most of all.

Do you think you'll be playing music for the rest of your life?
I imagine W.G. is well on our way to recording 3-4 landmark albums, getting way too famous way too quick, hiring a shady manager who says he has our best interest
in mind, selling out, losing/gaining a few members/pounds, making asses of ourselves in the media spotlight, and riding out the success far beyond the appropriate
time to call it quits. That will probably put us in our 60s, and we plan to live well into our 100s, so to answer your question, no we will not play music for the rest of our lives.

What exactly is the point of music?
To stir the soul.

What is your favorite piece of clothing?
Sara B's frog robe.

What is the worst movie ever?
Inception. Sorry.
